So livin on mackinac island is interesting...no cars, plenty of walking oh and no official house yet for me. I am sooo glad tomorrow is my day off!!! Oh and guess what...we're goin to the bar tonight ...maybe i'll meet a guy. Dad wants me to meet a white boy...Shawn downstairs is real cute and guess what...he's goin to the bar too:) WHOO HOO maybe i'll convince him to come dance with me:) Well hope to hear from everyone!! Yesterday was the best day I have had at WSU so far...well other than meeting Nick Cannon. I got to see Chris Brown and T-pain perform for our school. I sat outside 3 hours before chris sang and waited for my front row spot on the fence...*alongside a bunch of thirteen year olds lol* It was amazing. And i got Tally Hall's band member JOe to take a picture with me...yeah he might be cute;) I seriously had an amazing time. Hope it gets better as time progresses! 4 more days til my birthday...Halli said she's gettin me a stripper...hahaha I would die:)

So this weekend was AWESOME! Steph and I got trashed at a Que Frat After party. the party didnt' start until 2:30, it was OUT of CONTROL~ I have not had that many guys want to dance with me EVER! I had a blast! I cant' wait to go back to more...:)

Well i have officially decided to work on mackinac island this summer and go back to wayne state next fall..i believe if i want it that bad then i can and will find a way for it to succeed! Hopefully all goes according to plan..sorry manda i won't be there for the wedding..but u know i still love you guys!

So I have pretty much made up my mind about what I want to do next year. I am either goin to Ferris or Baker. I really need a summer job. So far 2 places on Mackinac Island have called me to work there for the summer. But if I work there I won't be able to make a lot of money, where as if I work at home I can try for 2 jobs and save a LOT of money( and maybe buy a new car:)). Nicole Meyer emailed me after i told her about my idea to go to Ferris and she said we should get an apartment together. It's definitely a good idea...as long as i have a job to pay for rent. My roommate Steph is so mad at me for not coming back to wayne. I"m like don't be mad at me be mad at WSU and Fafsa, i got crap for money. She's like well work 2 jobs all summer and don't spend a penny of it and you can be fine..i'm like i don't think it'll work out that way cuz i need a car for one, and I want a laptop (my computer is a piece!) Well its confusing....i don't know...AHHHHHHH

Ok so being in Detroit is AWESOME! I love it here...lots of cool people, fun things to do, but there is a downfall, i am broke, owe 2000 bucks plus 1200 to Anne's boyfriend for helping me out last semester, and risk being kicked out AGAIN....I'm thinkin about moving back home and living with my parents...not sure which one yet * mom is ok again..or seems that way...i visited her this past week* and possibly commuting to ferris...something i said i would never do, but I need to have a full time job and go to school, and being down here is hard..it took me 5 hours to get home for break and 4 1/2 to get back down...its ridiculus. I actually liked being home, even though i was kinda bored, it was nice, slower paced but nice. I dont' know...someone HELP!!!! I need advice....ugh.

Sometimes being 3 hours away from home sucks.

So today it hit me that i'm a little homesick..and by a little i mean A LOT! My car completely died on me today and for the first time in my life when i call daddy he can't come running here to save me. I seriously hate this. I want my dad to come fix it and make it better, but deep down i know he can't and this is a part of me growing up, but right now i don't want to be a grown up, i want to cry and throw a temper tantrum like a 5 year old kid, which we all know won't solve anything. The sucky part is spring break is in a week and i have no idea how i'm about to get home....UGH>...well gotta go get ready to work out.

Well i haven't wrote a real entry in a while..its been pretty boring here at WSU....Let's see...I am doing a lot better this semseter than last semester! All A's:) no e's like last marking:(. Oh and guess who i've been talk to lately, my mom...she gets out of rehab soon and wants me to visit. I am a little apprehensive about our relationship being good again, cuz we've been through a lot, but I'm willing to actually work on it, as long as she works on it too. Oh which reminds me my dad is actually marrying patty next summer.....eeeekkk..i was like so am i going to be invited to the wedding. Marie should be having her baby shower soon, wonder if i'll be invited to that one too. Speaking of baby's, remember how i lived with amy and ann over hte summer and how ann was pregnant, well amy is too! Good thing i got out of that mess:). Well just thought i'd update you all:) I have to go shower, we're going to the Heidleberg projects in about an hour *They are these houses in a poor neighborhood that some guy decorated really crazily to keep crime and drugs out of the neighborhood! Why do I put so much emphasis on having a boyfriend? I know I have many years ahead of me to find "Mr. Right" but I want him now. I got a little jealous today when I talked to Brian and he said he dated someone for a week. I still care about him greatly and we never talk anymore:(. Then there is Nate. I saw him at the club last night. He gave me a huge hug and held my hand for a minute. I was sooo like wow I do like him. I don't like the fact that I never see him any more cuz all his friends are over in the South hall now:( I'm sad. Anyways. School is going okay. I really like my Italian class. Let's see...i have pom practice at 6 am tomorrow...sadly i didn't practice...but oh well. I'm sure i'm not the only one;) Well i am bored and need to go back to my dorm!

Drunken Weekend Fun!

So last night i went out to my cousins cuz we were going to go to a movie...well instead we decided to hit up the frat party:) Well since Tiffany was driving she gave me the ok to drink..haha mistake there:) I know 2 of the guys there really well *Rami and Justin* so we both got in free...and then the fun began! First some guy named Alejandro tried to get us to dance but i was not diggin it...then some Pike Boys *the rival frat* were at the party and started talkin to Tiffany and me. Well Nick *the one i thought was pretty cute;)* Went to FSU for a year and knew where I was from...so we started talking and then a while later in the basement i saw him again and he asked Tiff if she was drinkin adn shes like no and then he was like do you want a beer? So tiff was like go for it..so I got a beer and we started talking...well I finished my beer in like 3 minutes and i was like geeze i'm sad i beat you and ur a big frat guy;) hes like ok hold this hold on. so he handed me his beer and went and got me another one *meanwhile rami started talkin to me and stuff and nick just stayed on the side til rami left. Well when nick returned i bet him that i could finish my beer first and hes like o yeah? So then he was like if you finish yours first i'll even give u a head start, you can have any type of alcohol at my party you and your friends for free. Of course i won't pass up free alcohol so i said deal *even though we're all goign to the club tonight...so then we start drinkin and i lost by just a little bit but he had no other end of the bet so my cousin is like u realize u dind't make ur half of the bet...so hes like well if u don't show up to our party tomorrow then u have to meet me for lunch monday at 3 in the student center. *HELLO This is good for me cuz he knew i wasn't gonna go to his party* So i was like fine but u won't be there i know guys like you..hesl ike no serious..so i got his number if he doesn't show up. so then he wasl ike i wouldn't have asked u if i didn't want to see you again i think you are cute...EEEEKKKK a HOT frat boy said i was cute..oh ok i see the warning sign in that sentance FRAT boy..meaning not always the best types of guys to fall for..but we'lls ee if he actually shows up. O did i mention he works at another best buy too *o and he used to work at Abercrombie and Fitch..tell u what type of guy he is??? lol...so after he left the party i met like 5 more guys..none very exciting but i did dance with rami:) and i got lots of hugs from him and justin and i was DRUNK lol....i actually puked for the first time when i got home...not cuz i drank so much but i smashed a whole large onion ring and sprite in like 4 minutes...that made things BAD...But anyways thats my weekend fun! Hopefully it'll continue til tomorrow *it would go to monday but sadly i have practice at six am and have to get up:)*

I made the pom squad!! 1 out of 14:) I am so excited guys! Then when i went to work my old big boss Janet was like sadly we have to let you go but in two week apply again cuz we liked you and let me kwno when u do so i can tell you what we have availiable:) *so yay i practically still have a job:) the bad thing is i've been in a few arguements the past few nights about things and a lot of people from the 3rd and our floor are moving out of North hall to south hall:( i'm sad. Poms is kicking my ass. So i went to tryouts *its a three day thing* and day one was yesterday. So we learned a whole routine to the song Suffering by Coheed and Cambria and tonight we're learning a dance to Missy Elliot Lose Control. My ass hurts...my legs hurt...my abs hurt...i just hurt. Good thing the pom part is a lot like cheerleading..only guess what..its actually a LOT harder than i thought...the song is sooooo fast and the moves are RIDICULUS..we literally roll on the floor. and like do drops so i'm waiting to break my arm. Some how i doubt that a lot of the girls there last night will return cuz it was insane how much we learned in an hour and a half and we still have a lot more to go tonight before performing tomorrow...i am going to DIE!!! But i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to make the squad. It would be good for me to have something to do other than the usual partying and studying and working *o wait i'm jobless so this gives me more time to do stuff.* and maybe stop worryin about boys. which takes me into another boy problem. So nate is really cute...we make out lots lately and all...but i know how his friends are *Juan straight up said my roomie steph is "BANGIN" and like they don't settle with girls they only mess around and stuff and Kick it and shit...well i got pissed at him for flirtin with another girl infront of me *or so i thought and then going to a movie with her and her roomie and her boo up in their room and i was like OK what the hell? But he was like we're cool but not like "cool" ok so we're not datin but don't fricken kick it with another girl infront of me...so we talkd and i guess he dind't think anything of her or do anything and shit and he likes me *halli said he said he didn't* its a mess....i don't know i mean i REALLY like brian still and want to date him again but like i know timings off...and not working togehter means now we NEVER see each other and talk maybe once or twice a week for a minute or two. But i am attracted to nate and all but i know it won't really work. Why can't i just know who i'm going to be with and be happy????? AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

So i had an okay weekend. Friday we went to Sigma Pi and i got stuck as DD. Emily came to visit me though so it was totally worth it. Nate and I chilled most of the weekend too. So Saturday Ieshia, Quesha,Alesha, Halli, Me, Cat, Calvin, Rachel, her bf Wayne, and some others from the third floor went to Altered State. It was a blast. Halli and I were the only white girls and tryed to keep up with the other girls dancing...hahhaha it didnt' happen. they told us they'll teach us how to dance next weekend. Last night steph's family had us over for dinner and then her 13 yr. old brother came back and spent the night here with us. Since i became sick *puking, headache, no voice, chills* we just watched movies in our room. Love and Basketball is a really good movie..i wish i would have seen it before last night. Since its MLK day we don't have school and everyone plans on chillin:)

So last night emily came down to detroit to see ME:) i was happy. We went out to the Sigma pi party...oh but did i mention i was d.d. cuz somethings got screwed around and i was just a little pissed off. So when we got back em and i and kat went to get some burger king...yum. and then steph called me cuz Nate was looking for me * ok yeah a new guy...his cousin lives on the third floor and hes ALWAYS here....so we have became make out buddies i guess...*that is ALL he is getting..and it's weird cuz like i don't knwo waht to think about the whole relationship status thing ...its not gonna make me contemplate it too much:) But anyways. So far so good with my classes!! I love my Italian class...e molto buono. :) Oh and i'm joining the Pom pon squad hopefully i make the cut for tryouts:) It should be a lot of fun. Especially since i am currently unemployed again:(:( better start searching for that job again.

Well break has been interesting. I am in Grand Rapids right now with my two best friends from high school Meg and Em. I saw Lissa and Nicole, Morris and Wendy, and Nick at chinese food yesterday and then afterwards emily and i decided to go visit megan since the weather wasn't that bad. We went shopping and had TGIFridays. Good times.
Not so good news~ Brian and i aren't dating anymore. That was short lived. He called me when i was sitting on megs bed. He just wants to be friends cuz he's going through a tough time with things in his life. I guess i understand that and i do respect it. I actually cried which really really shocked me. The girls were comforting me. We ended up gettin me a pint of ben and Jerry's ice cream and i ate it all in five minutes * emily said in twenty bites. I guess good thing was he did it yesterday cuz starting today i'm on a diet. It will be a little weird at work but i told him we'd still be friends. he is still a cool guy. Well maybe someday i'll find prince charming...maybe if i stop looking so hard i'll find him faster:)

Ok so things are a lot better. Last night my drawer was perfect so no more write ups:) That made me feel better. I didn't get to go out with Brian, but it was ok cuz i got to catch up on my sleep. I seriously went to bed at like 10 and woke up only once to talk to Brian around 12:30 and then went right back to sleep til work called to ask if i'd come in at 3 instead of 11...duh more sleep for me...lol. Let's see. I really like Brian...he is a great guy...we went to the movies the other night and saw Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire:) It was fun! *oh and guys i made it through the whole theater with out making out with him aren't ya proud?? Lol. It is weird going slow for once in a relationship...its like i'm happy that we're taking it slow but in the same sense i want it to become serious. Slowly but surely i guess. Dad may not approve of it but he can't judge Brian at all...I'm sure a lot of people in Cadillac would have a problem but thats too bad for them for being so ignorant. I like him so that's all that matters!!!
I registered for classes yesterday too:) I have a good schedule. I'm only taking 12 credit hours again...I have no monday OR friday classes:):)and Wednesday i have only one hour of Italian from 11:40-12:30. I'm takin Italian, History and AMerican Government:) I'm excited. Even though i have classes on two days i'm out by 3 tuesday and 4 thursday which isnt' bad at all. This also gives me more time to do homework/work/ and just maybe go home a little more:) :) i really need to start lookin for another job....but i don't know if i'll be at best buy long cuz of the whole stupid write ups:( Oh well i guess. Well i Gotta go to work!! Can't Be late!

I am in the greatest mood every right now:) yes its due to a boy. We talked on the phone for 1 1/2 hours last night:) he is sooooooooo nice guys. Everyone was like how can u like someone you dont know but like its weird he just seemed like the kind of guy i could get along with when i first saw him and i was interested in gettin to knwo him better...which i am doing right now. We have SOOOOO much in common it is crazy. I couldn't believe how long we talked for with out it having an akward pause at all:) It was great!!! Then on top of it before we hung up the phone he asked if I wanted to hang out tuesday night:) DUH there was NO hesitation to that at all. lol. So We'll see what happens:)
P.s the fire alarm went off a little bit ago and woke me up..i'm soooooooo pissed about that. lol

GUYS guess what i got today:) Brian's phone number...and i didn't even ask for it;) SO we talked for about a half an hour this morning and we were gettin along real well. Well he was like asking what days do i work and stuff...i guess we work together for a little bit tomorrow and then on saturday. Well he also said he'd come say hi to me at work today when he was buyin a cd if i wasn't busy. Well actually my line was super super long so i saw him and i knew he wasn't going to say hi...well i was wrong. He walked over and was like i know you are busy but here and handed me a piece of paper folded up. When he left i opened it and was like OMG JENN It said :brian, His number and call me sometime with a cute smiley face. Then his friend alan talked to me during my break and he was like oh i told him u thought he was cute and he thinks you are cute too. *ok so i don't know if brian really thinks that but oh well a number is great:) well we'll see if i get the nerves to call him:) *Told ya manda i'd keep ya updated;) Oh and the best part was i didn't shower today and had no make up on *i woke up 20 minutes before work and had NO time to get ready i was actually 10 minutes late...but yeah so my hair was in a pony from bed still and i had enough time to only brush my teeth and put on deoderant!

Alright so i have a crush at work...his name is Brian! He's very,very cute! Well lately we send one or two messages a day to each other on aim....well the last message i got from him before yesterday was about how hes' usually not online but he'd try to be online tomorrow night *as in last night now* and how i shouldn't be shy to talk to him at work cuz he's a nice easy going guy:) and so i responded with ok i hope to talk to ya online if you are still up when i get home from work cuz i close. Well yesterday he went to work :):):) to talk to Harold and then as he was leaving he waved bye to me...i wasn't sure if it was intended for me or not so all night i bugged jenn asking if she thought he waved to me or someone else. Well when i got home there was a message from him saying "so i was at work today and saw you and didn't want to bother you so i waved. Hope you made it home ok in this shitty weather" AWWWWWWWWWW i'm all giddy from that. He seriously is the one guy i want to date and get to know better. The girls at work think i have a chance. :) :) Wishes me luck:):)

I guess our building caught on fire tonight or had an alarm and Me, Halli, Steph, Dominique and Shanika and Lacey weren't informed and everyone else had their doors knocked on...apparently the alarms don't work on our floor..what kind of BULLSHIT is that??? Nice eh? Well when i die cuz there is a fire here and no one told me to get out of the building we can thank Wayne State Housing:)
